Wayne G. Stewart

Wayne G. Stewart of Clinton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on
Tuesday, Feb. 19. He was born in Tellico Plains to Marion Archibald Stewart and
Syntha Arminda Graham. He married the love of his life, Pauline Freeman on
Aug. 1, 1946 in Akron, Ohio. They lived in Oak Ridge and Madisonville,
before moving to Akron in 1948. A hardworker, devoted husband and family man,
he worked as a crane operator and retired from Babcock & Wilcox with more
than 33 years of service. He owned and operated Kenmore Roofing and Siding
Company for more than 40 years and later worked in woodworking and carpentry.
He was 89.
Preceded in death by: parents; brother, Kenneth;
sister-in-law, Sylvia Moses Stewart; brother-in-law, Bill McDaniel; and son-in-law
Timothy R. Shaffer.
Survivors include: daughters and spouses-Marlene
Shaffer and Kathleen Bobb and
Larry;
Grandchildren and spouses- Kara Scheck and Jim, Amanda Parsh
and Mike, Nicholas S. Bobb and Kim, Christopher Bobb and Samantha;
Great-grandchildren-Brandon and Jarred Scheck;
Sister-Reba McDaniel; and
Brother and spouse-Archie Stewart and Marianne; and
Many beloved nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends.
Funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. at Cox
Funeral Home, 1376 High St., Wadsworth officiated by Pastor Robert Moses.
Family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. Burial at Greenlawn
Cemetery.
