Kenneth Frerichs

Kenneth Frerichs of Coker Creek, went to be with the Lord,
Thursday, Feb. 21, at his residence. He was a member of Shenandoah Baptist
Church. Kenneth was the owner of Kenneth Frerichs and Son Contractors and was
well known for the hundreds of homes he built in the McMinn and Monroe county
areas.
He was 84.
Preceded in death by: his mother, Etna Frerichs; two
sisters, Betty Norman and Myrle Laybourne; and son-in-law, John Ross.
Survivors include: wife-Connie Frerichs of Coker Creek;
Son and daughter-in-law-Labron and Robin Frerichs of Benton;
Daughters and son-in-law-Melissa Ross of Cleveland; and
Deneen and Barry Walden of Niota;
Grandchildren-Monnica, Colby, Isaac and Rory Frerichs and
Luke and Isaiah Walden;
Several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Feb.
22, at Myers Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb.
23, at 10 a.m., at Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Grubbs and
Pastor Brent Coley officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at
Ironsburg Cemetery. Colby Frerichs, Rory Frerichs, Isaac Frerichs, Luke Walden,
Isaiah Walden, Barry Walden and Billy Brown will serve as pallbearers. Myers
Funeral Home of Tellico Plains is in charge of arrangements.
