Alvin A. Moses of Tellico Plains,
passed away at 12:20 p.m., Friday, Feb. 8, at Sweetwater Hospital. He was retired from Bain &
Holden after 35 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was
68.
Preceded in death by: father, James A. Moses; daughter, Connie
Moses Bowers; and grandmother, Martha Duckett.
Survivors include:
children and spouses:-Clayton and Kathy Moses of Crandel, Ga.; David and Denise Moses of Athens;
Wayne and Pam Moses of Etowah; Ronda and Eddie O'Daniel of Decatur; Christy and J.C. Hatfield
of Madisonville; and Misty Winkler;
Fifteen grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren;
Mother-Emma Moses;
Sisters and brother-in-law-JoAnn Long, Carolyn and Scott Lynn and Shirley Moses,
all of Tellico Plains;
Brothers and sisters-in-law: Harley and Becky
Moses of Englewood; Kenneth and Glenna Moses, Glen B. and Louise Moses and Jerry and Gail Moses,
all of Tellico Plains;
Loving and special friend and ex-wife-Mary
Moses, and mother of his children;
Several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday at Shoal Creek Baptist
Church, with Rev. Steve Strickland and Rev. Larry Walker officiating. Interment will be in the
church cemetery. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
