Charlene Britton Kirkland

Charlene Britton Kirkland of Sweetwater, passed away at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, at UT Medical Center. She was a member of Union McMinn Baptist Church.

She was 50.

Preceded in death by: daughter, Charlotte Britton; uncle and aunt, who raised her, Rastus and Myrtle Isbill.

Survivors include: Harold Lorado Kirkland;

Son-Michael Ray Kirkland;

Stepchildren-Curtis William Willett and Kayla Renee Arp, all of Sweetwater;

Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be 5 p.m., Saturday, at Union McMinn Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Alexander and Buddy Galyon officiating. Interment will be 2 p.m., Sunday in Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m., Saturday before the services.
