Jack Evans

Jack Evans of Tellico Plains, passed away at 7:15 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, at Blount Memorial Transitional Care.  He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army and a long-time used car dealer in Tellico Plains.

He was 88.

Survivors include: wife-Maude Evans;

Son and daughter-in-law-Mike “Shorty” and Robin Evans;

Granddaughter-Bethany Evans, all of Tellico Plains;

Sister-Ada Stewart of Detroit;

Brother-Harvey Evans of Madisonville;

Several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Druid Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Eddie McDaniel officiating.  Family requests that in lieu of flowers and/or food, that donations be made to Druid Hill Baptist Church. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains.
