Ethel Glennis Rhodes

Ethel Glennis Rhodes of Sweetwater, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Parkwest Hospital. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Glennis loved playing bingo at SAM's and spending time with her special dog, Jake.

She was 73. 

Preceded in death by: her husband, Norman Jay Rhodes; parents, Arthur D. and Ethel Verna Brown Bowen; two brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include: son-Allen Rhodes of Sweetwater;

Brother-Garry Bowen of Opelika, Ala.;

Three sisters-Charlotte Willis of Eastaboga, Ala.; Joyce Gibson and Wilma Newton, both of Union City, Ga.;

Several nieces and nephews.

The body is at Sweetwater Memory Chapel where the family will receive friends, Saturday, Jan. 12, from 1-2 p.m., with funeral service to follow in Sweetwater Memory Chapel.
