Reba P. Williams

Reba P. Williams of Tellico Plains, widow of Reed P. Williams, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Sweetwater Hospital. She was the oldest member of Cane Creek Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Charlie and Callie Kirkland.

She was 96.

Preceded in death by: daughter, Mildred Wattenbarger; sisters, little Ruby Kirkland and Mae Gray; brothers, Earl, Reed and Glen Kirkland.

Survivors include: children and spouses-Lillian and J.C. Bibee of Tellico Plains; Ralph and Janice Williams of Loudon; Betty and Roy Tucker of Benton; Calvin and Rose Williams of Madisonville; Carl and Dawn Williams of Tellico Plains; Elizabeth and David Thompson of Madisonville; and Glen and Sara Williams;

Son-in-law-Garland Wattenbarger of Tellico Plains;

Sixteen grandchildren;

Eleven great-grandchildren;

Eleven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Tuesday, in Biereley-Hale Chapel, with Rev. Jarvis Bivens and Rev. B.J. Wall officiating. Interment will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, in Cane Creek Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. before funeral services. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains, in charge of arrangements.
