Florence M. Gibson

Florence M. Gibson of Madisonville, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Dec. 1, at NHC of Athens. She was born in Monroe County. She was married to the late Kenneth W. Gibson, who died in 1983 and the daughter of the late John Watson and Elsie Watson Hicks. She was a long-time member of Notchey Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law-Larry and Pam Gibson of Riceville;

Sisters-in-law-Irene Gibson of Virginia; and Edna Gibson of Georgia;

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 7:30 p.m., Monday, at Notchey Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Gale Miller officiating. Interment services will be private. Family will receive friends from 5-7:30 p.m., Monday, before the services. Arrangements by Bierley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
