Arlie Robert French

Arlie Robert French of Tellico Plains, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, at his residence. With more than 30 years of law enforcement, he served as chief of police of Tellico Plains for more than 10 years.

He was 63.

Preceded in death by: his mother, Elizabeth French; father, John French; and brother, Johnny French.

Survivors include: daughters and son-in-law-Jenilee and James Frank and Elizabeth French, all of Tellico Plains;

Sons and daughters-in-law-Bobby and Heather French and Jamie and Tammy French of Tellico Plains;           

Brothers and sisters-in-law-Ronnie and Anna French, Tommy and Sandra French and Rick French, all of Tellico Plains;

Three granddaughters and nine grandsons;

Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, with the funeral to follow in Myers Funeral Home Chapel. Hospice Chaplain Mike Justice will officiate. Family and friends will assemble at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2, at Druid Hills Cemetery for committal service. Myers Funeral Home, of Tellico Plains in charge of services.
