Carrie Mae Davis

Carrie Mae Davis of Vonore, widow of Reford Davis, passed away at 9:10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 21, at UT Medical Center. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Loudon.

She was 80.

Preceded in death by: daughter, Bessie Croft; son, Rev. Donnie Davis; and granddaughter, Ashley Davis.

Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law-Rev. Ronnie and Jenny Davis of Vonore; Lonnie (Dino) and Angie Davis of Tellico Plains; Leroy and Linda Davis and Scott and Betty Davis, all of Englewood; Wayne Davis of Athens; Jamie and Kim Davis of Sweetwater; Pauletta (Edie) Davis of Madisonville;

Twenty-six grandchildren;

Nineteen great-grandchildren;

Brother-Joe Harris of Tellico Plains;

Several nieces and nephews.

We want to express our grateful appreciation to the nurses with Sweetwater Home Health for their excellent care.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Friday, in Biereley-Hale Chapel with Rev. Gary Cook and Rev. Gerald Lynn officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m., Saturday, in Piney Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., before funeral services. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
