Sharon Kay West
(Oct. 10, 2012) Sharon Kay West of
Tellico Plains, went home to be with the lord Wednesday evening, after a long battle with cancer at
her home. She taught art and history for 20 years at Tellico Plains Junior High School. Preceded in death by: father, Eugene Crawley; and
granddaughters, Brooklyn and BreAnna Warren. She was 60. Survivors include: husband-Sonny West of Tellico
Plains: Daughters and sons-in-law-Misty Hunt of Greenback;
and Natasha and Johar Lashin of Sevierville; and Rachel and Brent Warren of Englewood; Son
and daughter-in-law-Kimsey and Carol West of Tellico Plains; Mother-Nina Stafford
of Loudon; Brother-Ronnie Crawley of Loudon; Grandchildren-Colton and Macy Kay Hunt, Hunter and
Hailee Warren, Joseph Jacob and Jayce Lashin and Cole West; Several nieces and
nephews. Funeral services
will be 1 pm., Saturday, at Center Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Sam Melton and Rev. Jon Farone
officiating. Interment will be in Living Waters Cemetery at Center Presbyterian Church. Family
will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home. Arrangements by
Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains.
