Rev. Jeffrey Ogle West

Rev. Jeffrey Ogle West of Madisonville, went home to be with his heavenly father at 11 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 7, at U.T. Medical Center. He was employed at Vestal Manufacturing for more than 38 years, was an associate pastor of Faith Baptist Church, Sweetwater, and also ministered at several churches and the local radio broadcast in the Monroe County area for more than 20 years. Being an artist and multi-instrumental musician, he played for several gospel singing groups for more than 30 years.

He was 57.

Preceded in death by: parents, Ogle and Glenda M. West; and brother Cecil West.

Survivors include: wife-Susie West;

Sons and daughters-in-law-Patrick and Melissa West of Sweetwater; Timothy and Kayla West of Sweetwater; David and Missy Rodgers of Madisonville; and Matt and Lacey Weese of Athens;

Grandchildren-Kaylin and Trenton West;

Sisters and brothers-in-law-Susie and Ronnie Moser, Tammy and Darrell Henry and Missy and Bobby Bowers, all of Madisonville;

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Wednesday, in Biereley-Hale Chapel, with Rev. Jack Sylvester and Rev. Grady Butler officiating.  Interment will be 11 a.m., Thursday, in Sunset Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. before the services, Wednesday. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
