Fredy Dawson

Fredy "Gene" Dawson of  Tennessee, passed away Oct. 1.  He was of the Beulah's Chapel Church of Nazarene and served in the Vietnam War. 

He was 61.

Preceded in death by: parents, Claude Jr. and Alma W. Dawson.

Survivors include: former spouse-Betti Dawson;

Daughter-Melanie D. Miller and Russ Barnes;

Son and daughter-in-law-Scott Dawson and Nichoel Dawson;

Sister-Sharon Barnes and family;

Brother-Gary Dawson and family;

Four grandchildren;

A host of family, relatives and friends and friends at VFW Post 5146.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 7, at Beulah Chapel Church with Rev. Bill Dawson officiating with the interment to follow in the church cemetery with full military honors to be provided by the Sweetwater VFW Post 5156 and members of the Monroe County Disabled American Veterans #93. Visitation will follow the interment  until 4 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to VFW Post 5146 Wounded Warriors Project.  Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, in charge of arrangements.
