Phyllis Jane Denton

Phyllis Jane Denton passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, in Murfreesboro, she was formerly of Sweetwater. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sweetwater. Phyllis loved going to Sunday School and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was 70

Preceded in death by: parents, Bruce and Ruby Reed Mincey; her kitty cats, Big Boy, Spunky, Toto, Kit, Misty, Tiger, and her grandcats, Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law-Kenneth James Denton and wife Karen of Cleveland; Edward Bruce Denton and wife Fei Ying Pai of Murfreesboro;

Grandchildren-Courtney Segovia and husband, Michael, Cameron Denton and Kayla Denton, Albert Bruce Denton and Ruby Grace Denton;

Great-grandchild-Cadence Marie Segovia;

Brother-Ronald Bruce Mincey;

Aunt and uncle-Eula and Bob Coleman;

Several cousins.

Funeral services were 7 p.m., Sunday, in Sweetwater Memory Chapel with Dr. Frank Crawford. Graveside service and Interment was 11 a.m., Monday in Sweetwater Memorial Park. Sweetwater Memory Chapel in charge of the arrangements.
